The price of gold per tola has risen for the second consecutive day, increasing by Rs2,200 today (Thursday).
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), after an increase of Rs2,200, the price of gold per tola in the local market reached Rs455,762. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,800 to reach Rs390,742.
The price of silver per tola increased by Rs78 to reach Rs6,900. In the international market, the price of gold per ounce rose by $22 to reach $4,334.
Earlier on Wednesday, the price of gold saw another surge in both global and Pakistani markets on Wednesday after a slight drop in the last session.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,700 per tola, reaching Rs453,562, as global rates rose amid steady investor demand.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs2,315 to Rs388,856, according to the APSGJA.
