Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on Thursday that India is the world’s largest promoter of terrorism,
Speaking exclusively on Samaa TV, Tarar said: "All evidence related to the terrorist attack in Australia has come to light. The attackers’ passports and statements by Indian police have surfaced. Hardeep Singh Nijjar was killed in Canada, while actions were taken against Sikhs in the United States."
"Terrorism in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is sponsored by India. It is regrettable that a country sponsoring terrorism is levelling accusations against a country that is itself a victim of terrorism. Pakistan was accused without investigation or evidence. Pakistan itself is a country that has suffered from terrorism," Tarar said.
The information minister demanded an apology from international media for blaming Pakistan.
"It is unfortunate that Al Jazeera joined Indian and Israeli media in this matter. International media has been told that it should issue an apology," he added.
Tarar maintained: "A regulatory framework regarding social media is already in place. Effective action will be taken, and soon, against YouTubers involved in anti-Pakistan campaigns."
