Former national cricket team captain Shahid Afridi called the accountability of Faiz Hameed a welcome development.
In his statement, Shahid Afridi said that holding Faiz Hameed to account was encouraging, adding that the Pakistan Army had begun the accountability process from within. He said anyone who caused harm to Pakistan should be held accountable.
He further said that with the World Cup around the corner, there was no need for excessive experimentation within the team. He said the World Cup combination must have been decided and that the captain should be given a settled team so he knows he is in charge.
Shahid Afridi also said that a PSL road show should be organised, as the PSL is a major brand, and that PSL franchises should also arrange such programmes.
