Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi said every effort was being made to hold the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 matches at the Muzaffarabad stadium.
According to details surfaced on Tuesday, a Board of Governors (BoG) meeting was held under the chairmanship of PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The second phase of reconstruction at the National Cricket Stadium Karachi received formal approval.
The BoG decided to upgrade the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground on the lines of the Oval ground. Moreover, the BoG granted approval for the upgradation of the LCCA Ground. At the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi and his team were praised for the success of the PSL London and New York road shows.
The chairman’s personal efforts in continuing the Sri Lankan team’s recent tour were commended.
The BoG members passed a resolution expressing gratitude to the PCB Chairman. Naqvi said the credit for continuing the Sri Lankan tour went to the entire team, not to him personally.
He added that the success of the PSL road shows was a success for both the PCB and the entire PSL team.
Naqvi has made it clear that international matches would also be held at Muzaffarabad stadium.
