The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced South Africa’s spinner Simon Harmer as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for November 2025.
Harmer claimed the award following his outstanding performances in the Test series against India. He took an impressive 17 wickets across two Test matches, playing a pivotal role for South Africa.
Reacting to the honour, Simon Harmer said he dedicates the award to his team, coaches, and family. Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz and Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam were also shortlisted nominees for the award.
The nominations for the award were announced earlier this month after the conclusion of international fixtures played in November. Harmer was shortlisted alongside Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz and Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam, both of whom also delivered notable performances during the month.
The ICC Men’s Player of the Month award recognizes outstanding individual performances in international cricket and is decided through a combination of fan voting and an expert panel.
