The unofficial and preliminary results of the PS-9 Gadhi Yaseen by-election in Shikarpur have been announced.
According to these results, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Agha Shahbaz Khan Drani has secured victory with 73,554 votes, while JUI-F candidate Rashidullah Shah came in second with 9,412 votes.
A total of 178 polling stations were set up in the constituency, where voting began at 8:00am. After polling concluded, the counting process started, and the unofficial results were compiled from all polling stations.
Following the announcement of the preliminary results, celebrations broke out at the Drani House, with a large number of PPP supporters gathering outside to congratulate each other on the victory.
