The body of a station manager was recovered from the office of a foreign airline at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
According to the officials, the deceased has been identified as Irfan Baig. His body was found on the fourth floor of the closed office in the Jinnah Terminal.
Officials said that the body appeared to be a day old. Irfan Baig had been missing since the previous night, and his family had been unable to contact him. This evening, airline staff opened the office at the time of a flight and discovered the body inside.
A doctor from the airport’s on-site health department issued a death certificate at the scene. Preliminary reports said that Irfan Baig may have died of a heart attack. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
