Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan stands with its Qatari brothers in advancing a secure, prosperous region and a shared vision for the neighbourhood.
Addressing the Qatar’s National Day, PM Shehbaz said that relations between Pakistan and Qatar extend far beyond geographical boundaries, and that their strategic partnership is comprehensive and dynamic.
The premier said that Qatar’s investment in various sectors in Pakistan is playing an important role in the country’s economic recovery.

Separately, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s two-day visit to Pakistan was set out in an official communiqué, during which delegation-level talks were held between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Indonesian president.
According to the communiqué, the meetings reaffirmed the shared resolve to strengthen bilateral cooperation. The President of Indonesia was conferred Pakistan’s highest civil honour, the Nishan-e-Pakistan, by the Head of State. The meetings expressed a commitment to broaden cooperation across all areas of mutual interest. The Indonesian president also met President Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
