Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry said on Wednesday that the centre is meeting the financial needs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's merged districts.
Hitting out at the opposition alliance, Chaudhry said: "The opposition has not revealed the truth about the NFC Award. The opposition should stop making the fabricated statements for gaining the political benefits."
He asked the KP government to disclose the developmental projects completed in the province.
Separately, few days back, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi challenged any move to impose governor’s rule, stating the province is already governed by PTI founder Imran Khan’s vision.
Speaking to the media, he also launched welfare programs for people with severe disabilities, highlighting the provincial government’s focus on public service despite federal arrears.
Afridi declared that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa does not fear any governor’s rule, asserting, “If anyone has the courage, show it by imposing Governor’s Rule. We are not afraid of anyone.”
