Security forces killed seven militants in two separate operations in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
As per the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first intelligence-based operation was carried out in the Mir Ali area, where six militants were killed during an intense exchange of fire. In a second operation in Spinwam, security forces engaged another militant, who was also killed.
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, who, according to ISPR, were involved in attacks on security forces, law enforcement agencies, and targeted killings of civilians.
The statement added that counter-terrorism operations will continue with full determination under ‘Azm-e-Istehkam’ as security forces remain committed to eliminating terrorism from the country.
