Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani paid an official visit to Pakistan from November 25 to 26 and held delegation-level talks with the National Security Adviser, Lieutenant General Asim Malik, the Foreign Office stated.
According to the Foreign Office, Ali Ardeshir Larijani also met the president, the prime minister, the speaker, the deputy prime minister and the field marshal. The meetings highlighted the historic and longstanding relations between Pakistan and Iran. Both sides stressed stronger bilateral cooperation across various sectors and agreed to advance regional peace and stability with a shared commitment to prosperity.
The Foreign Office reported that both sides also held a comprehensive exchange on regional and global developments. The meetings underscored close coordination, constructive dialogue and the significance of peaceful settlement of disputes. The two sides expressed resolve to address common challenges and to strengthen cooperation at regional and international forums.
