Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the latest United Nations report highlighting serious human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
The report provides clear evidence of Indian oppression, arbitrary restrictions, and gross violations of the fundamental rights of Kashmiris, according to Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson.
The UN Special Procedures experts released the report on November 24, 2025, confirming India’s systematic human rights abuses in the region.
The spokesperson stated that India is targeting Kashmiri Muslims and other minorities under state patronage and called on New Delhi to immediately lift all arbitrary and unjust restrictions. They urged India to release all detained individuals unconditionally and to end the state-sponsored oppression of minorities, particularly Muslims and Christians.
The spokesperson emphasized that a resolution to the Kashmir issue is only possible in accordance with UN resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people. Pakistan reaffirmed its continued political, moral, and diplomatic support for the people of Kashmir.
