Pathum Nissanka rose to the top of Sri Lanka’s T20I run chart on Tuesday (25 November 2025) after an unbeaten 98 from 58 balls that secured a nine-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the fifth match of the tri-nation series at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
His effort drove Sri Lanka past the target with ease and placed him above Kusal Perera in the national record list.

Nissanka now holds 2,326 runs in T20Is, surpassing Perera’s 2,305. Their figures. He has also surpassed Bhanuka Mendis and Tillakaratne Dilshan.
