Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday held an important meeting during which he called for the audit of export scheme.
Prime Minister said that all schemes being run under the Export Development Fund must undergo a third-party audit while directing that the role of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) be reviewed and restructured to enhance export performance.
The PM emphasized that the irrelevant and illogical use of the Export Development Fund would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He added that the promotion and marketing of Pakistan’s export products across the world is the responsibility of the federal government.
PM stated that providing maximum possible facilitation to industrialists for boosting national exports remains among the government’s top priorities.
