Pakistan have defeated Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the third match of the ongoing tri-nation series.
Pakistan successfully chased down the target of 129 set by Sri Lanka, achieving victory in 15.3 overs for the loss of three wickets. Sahibzada Farhan remained unbeaten with a brilliant 80 runs, anchoring the innings. Saim Ayub contributed 20 runs, while Babar Azam added 16, guiding Pakistan to a comfortable win.
Sri Lanka set a target of 129 runs for Pakistan as Janith Liyanage played a crucial innings, top-scoring with an impressive 41 runs. Kusal Perera contributed 25, Kamil Mishra added 22, while Pathum Nissanka chipped in with 17 runs.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz delivered an outstanding bowling performance, claiming three scalps. Salman Mirza, Faheem Ashraf, and Mohammad Abrar each took one wicket, keeping Sri Lanka’s batting lineup in check.
Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first.
