The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday released its two-year performance report, stating that a total of Rs1.10 trillion has been recovered and returned to victims and government institutions by the third quarter of 2025.
According to the report, Rs6.57 billion was returned to the federal and provincial governments, including:

Rs4.75bn deposited with the federal government

Rs330m returned to the Punjab government

Rs320m to the Sindh government

Rs5m to the Balochistan government

Rs41m to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government
NAB said an additional Rs1.12bn was returned to other public-sector institutions. The bureau also highlighted that Rs124bn was recovered in fraud and cheating cases and returned to the affected citizens. Overall, more than 121,000 victims received restitution.
NAB clarified that recovered land assets are not included in the total monetary recoveries listed in the report.
