Pakistan batter Abdul Samad withdrew from the tri-nation T20 series after he suffered an injury during a practice session.
According to details, a ball struck his left hand while he fielded, and medical staff advised a four-week period for complete recovery. Team management brought in Hasan Nawaz as Samad’s replacement. He had earlier been released from the squad for domestic cricket commitments.
It is pertinent to note that the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi will host all the matches of the tri-nation series, slated to happen from November 18 to 29.
