Evidence has surfaced suggesting the involvement of the Khawarij faction and Afghan elements in the recent suicide explosion in Islamabad.
According to official sources, Afghanistan appears to have played a role in the attack. It has been reported that collusion between the Khawarij militants and Afghan operatives. The Taliban regime in Afghanistan is conducting open acts of terrorism within Pakistan.
Sources stated that the blast occurred at approximately 12.45 pm, though discussion on Afghan social media platforms had begun hours earlier. Posts from accounts linked to the Taliban included statements such as “Coming Soon Islamabad.” Similar threatening messages appeared during an Afghan military parade, where users spoke of hoisting the Afghan flag in Lahore and setting Islamabad ablaze.
The Afghan Twitter account, Amaj News published these threats on November 2. Posts originating from Afghanistan prior to the explosion have been cited as clear evidence that the Taliban regime has not restrained its activities. Sources added that the blasts in Islamabad and Delhi reflected coordination among states hostile to Pakistan, with a shared aim of inflicting harm on the country.
12 people lost their lives and 27 sustained injuries when a suicide bomber detonated explosives near the Islamabad District Judicial Complex. Police reported recovering the head of the attacker from the site. The wounded were taken to PIMS Hospital, and identification of all twelve deceased individuals has been completed.
Police officers confirmed that evidence was collected from the scene. The explosion occurred among vehicles parked nearby, and the blast was audible as far as the Police Lines Headquarters.
