Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have concluded a formal agreement concerning arrangements and facilities for Hajj 2026.
According to details, the accord was signed in Jeddah by Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr Abdulfattah Bin Sulaiman Mashat, and Pakistan’s Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs, Dr Syed Atta-ur-Rehman.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki; Director-General of Hajj, Jeddah, Abdul Wahab Soomro; and officials of the Pakistan Hajj Organisers Association (HOPE).
The Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs expressed gratitude to the Saudi government for its hospitality and its continued efforts to provide facilities for pilgrims. He expressed confidence that, as in previous years, Pakistani pilgrims would receive high-quality services during the upcoming Hajj season.
He added that the Ministry of Religious Affairs remained committed to completing all arrangements for both the government and private Hajj schemes in accordance with the directives of the Saudi authorities, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
