Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs1,300 per tola on Monday, reaching Rs423,862, as global rates rose amid steady investor demand.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs1,115 to Rs363,393, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
Domestic Gold prices see sharp rise
According to APSGJA, the price of 24-karat gold rose to Rs423,862 per tola, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold reached Rs363,393 after gaining Rs1,115.
Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were priced at Rs333,122, marking an increase of Rs1,022.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $13 per ounce to settle at $4,015. The uptick reflects sustained global interest in precious metals amid economic uncertainty and shifting currency trends.
Silver prices also increase
Silver followed a similar trajectory, with the price per tola rising by Rs25 to Rs5,152. The rate for 10 grams of silver climbed by Rs22 to Rs4,417.
In the international market, silver was trading at $48.90 per ounce after a modest gain of $0.25.
