Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Mosharraf Zaidi as his spokesperson for foreign media.
The notification of his appointment was issued on Sunday with the signature of the prime minister’s adviser, Dr Tauqir Shah, directing the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Cabinet Division to implement the decision without delay.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, congratulated Mosharraf Zaidi on his appointment. He said that Zaidi’s inclusion would be a valuable addition to the team. Tarar added that working with Zaidi in recent months had been an excellent experience and that he looked forward to continued collaboration.
Tarar was of the view that Zaidi’s appointment would help project Pakistan’s narrative more effectively on international platforms.
