Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reached Saudi Arabia for a three-day official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
The deputy governor of Riyadh, Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman, welcomed PM Sharif upon his arrival. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq, along with other diplomatic officials, was also present to receive him.
According to the Foreign Office, the premier will attend the prestigious Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference — a global platform bringing together world leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss pressing challenges and opportunities in the global economy.

This year’s conference focuses on innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical shifts, giving Pakistan an opportunity to showcase its vision for inclusive economic growth and its potential as an emerging investment destination.
High-level delegation accompanies PM
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, the Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Information, along with other senior officials.

The delegation is scheduled to hold multiple meetings with top Saudi officials and business leaders to discuss expanding cooperation in key sectors such as trade, investment, energy, and manpower export.
Meetings with Saudi leadership
During his stay in Riyadh, PM Shehbaz is also scheduled to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who extended a special invitation for the visit. Leaders from various countries around the world are participating in the conference. The PM
will also engage with several global investors and policymakers attending the FII conference. Officials say the meetings aim to strengthen bilateral economic relations and attract greater Saudi investment in Pakistan’s energy and infrastructure sectors.
