While shopping with fellow cricketers in Adelaide, India’s cricket captain, Shubman Gill, was approached by the Pakistani fan.
The incident occurred on a public street where Gill and teammates were casually browsing local shops. As they walked past, the Pakistani fan extended a handshake to the Indian captain.
During the brief interaction, the fan also chanted "Pakistan Zindabad".

Separately, it was reported that India has remained firm in its refusal to receive the Asia Cup trophy from Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devajit Saikia has written to the ACC, requesting that the trophy be sent directly to India.
"Should the trophy not be delivered, India plans to raise the issue with the International Cricket Council (ICC)," said Saikia.
