Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, the cricketer posted an emotional picture of himself holding his baby’s tiny hand, along with a touching message that read: “From Allah, to Allah, I couldn’t hold you longer my lil angel. Baba & Mama will miss you. May you stay in higher ranks in Heaven.”

The heartbreaking post quickly went viral, as thousands of fans and sports personalities offered condolences and prayers for the grieving parents.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also expressed grief over the death of the cricketer's newborn daughter and offered the bereaved family his sympathies. "May Allah Almighty give you the courage to bear the loss," Naqvi prayed.

A right-arm fast-medium bowler and a right-handed batsman, he made his international debut in 2022 against England in a T20I, where he impressed fans with his disciplined bowling under pressure.
