Grade 21 Police Services of Pakistan officer Shakeel Ahmad Durrani has officially taken charge as the Director General (DG) of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi.
The official notification states that Shakeel Durrani's appointment is effective for a period of three years.
Before his new role at NAB Karachi, Durrani served as Additional Director General at the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
His appointment follows the completion of Javed Akbar Riaz’s three-year tenure as DG NAB Karachi.
Mr Riaz formally relinquished charge yesterday, marking the end of his term and paving the way for a leadership transition within the bureau.
