Adviser to the prime minister, Rana Sanaullah emphasized the need for national unity amid rising regional tensions, urging political parties to stand “with Pakistan, not with Khawarij.”
He praised the Pakistan Army for its “befitting reply” to unprovoked Afghan aggression and called for an end to ongoing protests in the country.
Addressing a gathering in Faisalabad, Rana Sanaullah said the government has once again invited all political parties to sign the Pakistan stability pact for the sake of national harmony.
He remarked that while “PTI will continue to abuse us,” dialogue is essential for Pakistan’s stability. “Now it is up to you to decide whether you stand with Pakistan or with Afghanistan,” he said, adding that the aggression began from the Afghan side but Pakistan’s forces were fully prepared.
Praise for Pakistan Army’s response
The minister hailed the armed forces for their swift and strong action against infiltrators. “We salute the Pakistan Army for destroying the hideouts of the Khawarij sedition,” he stated, noting that such decisive operations were crucial following recent cross-border provocations.
Sanaullah credited the “bold policy of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir ” for enabling Pakistan to deliver a firm response, adding that “thanks to this leadership, Pakistan earned respect both militarily and diplomatically.”
Appeal to religious groups amid Gaza march
Commenting on recent protests, the minister said a religious group has been holding activities under the banner of the “Gaza March,” which has witnessed violent incidents over the past few days.
He revealed that the government has reached out to protest organizers, urging them to “end or postpone the demonstration in the name of the martyrs.” Sanaullah stressed that “this march should have been held to express solidarity with the government and the Field Marshal.”
‘World recognizing Pakistan’s diplomatic strength’
Rana Sanaullah highlighted Pakistan’s recent diplomatic success, mentioning that the Prime Minister strongly condemned Israeli atrocities at the United Nations. “Pakistan even played a role in convincing America,” he said, noting that the world is now recognizing Pakistan’s military and diplomatic strength.
He reiterated his salute to the Field Marshal for “giving such a strong response” and called upon political leaders to “fulfil their responsibility” at this critical time.
