Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi condemned unprovoked Afghan firing on Pakistani territory and warned of a firm reply.
Naqvi called firing on civilian populations a blatant violation of international law. He said Pakistan’s armed forces gave a prompt and effective response and proved that no provocation would receive tolerance. He added that Pakistan’s forces remained alert and that Afghanistan had received a stone for a brick.

Naqvi said the people of Pakistan stood like a lead wall alongside the armed forces. He vowed that Afghanistan would receive a befitting reply, as India received, so that it would not dare cast a dirty eye at Pakistan.
