Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held telephone discussions with the Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Azerbaijan to discuss the situation in Gaza and the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
According to details surfaced on Saturday, all sides agreed to continue efforts aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region. Dar spoke with the Egyptian foreign minister to review the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The discussion also covered regional diplomatic engagement and cooperation. Preparations for the upcoming summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, were also considered.
In a separate conversation, Dar contacted Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. According to the Foreign Office, the exchange included a detailed discussion on the situation in the Middle East and the worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
They also spoke about ongoing efforts by Arab and Islamic countries to promote peace and stability in the region.
Moreover, Dar also held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to discuss the regional situation, with a particular focus on Gaza and Palestine.
The two leaders exchanged views on the evolving situation and reviewed the role of Muslim countries in promoting peace and stability in the region. They also discussed the upcoming OIC summit, scheduled to take place in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
