Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on Friday that if the Fitna-ul-Khawarij cross from Afghanistan into Pakistan and shed blood, entering Afghan soil to take account of that blood is the country's right.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Asif said Kabul had failed to give assurance that its land would not be used by pro-India elements against Pakistan. He said the sanctity of Pakistan’s soil must not be violated, just as Pakistan would not allow harm to come to Afghan land.

On the other side, the DG ISPR also addressed Pakistan’s relations with Afghanistan, reiterating that the military has consistently shared evidence and raised concerns regarding cross-border terrorism. “We have provided evidence to Afghanistan and have always said that their soil must not be allowed to become a haven for non-state actors and terrorist groups,” he explained.
He added that Pakistan has repeatedly urged the Afghan government to ensure that its territory is not used against Pakistan’s interests.
