Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur reiterated on Thursday that he would not return to his post, even if directed by the PTI founder, urging that the province’s governance should continue smoothly despite political turbulence.
Ali Amin Gandapur said his resignation should be accepted soon so that the province’s work is not disrupted. He stressed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was facing several challenges and that the administrative system must be allowed to function without political obstruction.

“There is improvement in every area of governance, and this step too will prove beneficial in the long run,” Gandapur remarked, maintaining that the party was fully united with no internal divisions.
Declaring that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains PTI’s political stronghold, Gandapur said his party has consistently proven that it “cannot be defeated politically.”
“We have always stood firm and challenged our opponents with political strength,” he said, reaffirming his commitment to supporting PTI’s new chief ministerial candidate.
Gandapur alleges “conspiracy” by Centre
In a series of statements, Gandapur accused the federal government of plotting another “conspiracy” amid his resignation.
“Our legal team is reviewing the matter of my resignation. The conspirators are playing a game around this issue, but we will foil their plans,” he stated.
Despite the political uncertainty, Gandapur assured that PTI would continue following the directives of its founding chairman. “Whatever they do, I have resigned,” he concluded.
