The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced a new procedure for the cancellation of sales tax deregistration.
According to an FBR notification, manual applications will no longer be accepted under the revised procedure. The notification further confirmed that all submissions will be processed exclusively through a computerised system.
All applications must now be submitted online.
Pending applications that were submitted manually will also be handled through the same computerised platform, in line with the updated process.
