The Provincial Disaster Management Authority has launched the largest flood survey in Punjab’s history.
According to details surfaced on Friday, PDMA Director General Irfan Ali Kathia said that more than 2,200 teams are collecting data door-to-door across 27 districts to assess the situation of the affected population.
The survey included details of damage to houses, crops and livestock. To maintain transparency, the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Land Record Authority (LRA) have taken part in the process.
Once the verified data is locked, funds will be transferred to the accounts of those affected.
