The United Arab Emirates on Tuesday announced the petrol and diesel prices for October 2025. Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91 petrol, and diesel rates have all seen a marginal increase compared to September, continuing the trend of market-aligned pricing.
The official prices per litre are as follows:
-
Super 98 petrol: Dh2.77 (up from Dh2.70 in September)
-
Special 95 petrol: Dh2.66 (up from Dh2.58)
-
E-Plus 91 petrol: Dh2.58 (up from Dh2.51)
-
Diesel: Dh2.71 (up from Dh2.66)
Background and Impact
The UAE deregulated petrol prices in 2015 to align domestic rates with international market trends. Fuel prices play a key role in controlling inflation, as stable petrol and diesel rates help maintain transportation costs and the prices of goods.
Despite the slight increase, the UAE continues to rank among the 25 countries with the lowest petrol prices globally, with an average price of Dh2.58 per litre.
