The price of gold saw a second consecutive decline in Pakistan and globally.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,000 on Friday to reach Rs395,800. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs858, taking it to Rs339,334.

The global gold market also witnessed a change, with the price of gold per ounce dropping by $10 to reach $3,740.
The silver prices in Pakistan, however, saw an opposite trend, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver increasing by Rs64 to reach Rs4,599, and 10g of 24-karat silver being sold for Rs3,942.
