Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Bill Gates, founder of the Gates Foundation, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session in New York.
The discussion focused on polio eradication, nutrition improvement, and relief efforts for flood victims in Pakistan.

During the meeting, PM Shehbaz expressed gratitude to the Gates Foundation for its consistent partnership in Pakistan’s fight against polio. He also thanked the foundation for its contributions to improving nutritional standards across the country.
The premier stressed the importance of continued cooperation to achieve the complete eradication of polio, a longstanding public health challenge in Pakistan.
