Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nadeem Afzal Chan said on Friday that his party had not engaged in point-scoring over the floods.
Addressing a press conference flanked by Hassan Murtaza in Islamabad, Chan said: "The country is facing hardships in the form of the floods. The government has not given complete information about the floods."
Chan feared that there is a possibility of increased death rates and further devastation due to the floods. He lamented, "The farmers are not getting help."
He said, "There are the districts where the measures have been taken to provide relief to the flood-hit people. But there are also the areas, where many TikTok videos have been made."
"Punjab Chief Maryam Nawaz is doing her job in a good way, but there are some of the officers who are doing rehearsals for the photo shoots." Chan has called for action against the deforestation.
