Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan on Monday paid tribute to the Pakistan Navy, hailing its role in national defence as exemplary.
According to details surfaced, in his message on Navy Day, Aleem Khan said the Pakistan Navy had always stood at the forefront of the country’s defence, and its personnel had made unmatched sacrifices for the homeland.
He said the Navy had consistently confronted the enemy with courage and strength, and the entire nation saluted its brave service members. Navy Day, he added, served as a reminder of those who gave their lives for the country.

Aleem Khan said the Navy faced the enemy with readiness and resolve, placing their lives at risk to defend the nation. He said the force remained stronger under the leadership of Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and that it had written a remarkable chapter in history during the 1965 war.
