In a significant development toward resuming direct flights from Pakistan to the United States, a team from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on September 6 for the first time in several years.
According to officials, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has completed preparations for the audit ahead of the team’s visit. The FAA team will review licensing exams, flight standards, and state safety operations as part of the inspection.
The CAA said all departments have finalized preparations to facilitate the audit, which is considered a key step toward the restoration of direct flights between Pakistan and the U.S.
