Severe flooding in Wazirabad has displaced hundreds of families, leaving many without shelter and food.
SAMAA TV reported from the banks of the Chenab River, where affected families said they have yet to receive any relief.
Victims recounted their ordeal, saying they were struggling to secure even one meal a day. “Everything we had has been washed away, our children are hungry,” one family told SAMAA.
An elderly victim made an emotional appeal, saying, “Help us, or throw us into the river.”
Local residents continue to wait for government and relief agencies to provide urgent assistance as floodwaters wreak havoc in the region.
