Gold prices in Pakistan surged again on Thursday, with the rate of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs900 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The increase mirrors movements in the international bullion market, where gold rose by $9 to settle at $3,399 per ounce.
Silver prices also increase
Silver also posted gains alongside gold:

International silver price: $38.88 (+0.53) per ounce
Traders attribute the upward trend to international price hikes and fluctuations in exchange rates. The association noted that the domestic market remains sensitive to global bullion prices as well as the interbank currency parity.
