The PMLN-led federal government has acknowledged the services of former NAB Director General Irfan Baig by appointing him as a member of the Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Baig’s appointment will be on a two-year contract basis, with terms and conditions to be finalized later.
Baig previously served as DG NAB Rawalpindi and was part of the team that initiated cases against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder. Major cases during his tenure included the May 9 arrest, the £190 million case, and the Toshakhana I and II references.
