Adverse weather conditions have severely affected air operations across the country, leading to the cancellation of eight flights and delays of 63 flights.
At Sialkot Airport, flight operations were heavily disrupted. Pakistan International Airlines’ Abu Dhabi–Sialkot flight PK-178 was diverted to Karachi, while Flydubai flight FZ-337 was redirected to Islamabad. Flydubai’s Sialkot–Dubai flight FZ-338 was delayed by 17 hours, while flights FZ-782 and FZ-783 faced delays of five and a half hours. The departure of PK-179 was also delayed by two hours.
Islamabad Airport also witnessed major disruptions, with nine Karachi flights delayed between one and seven hours. In total, 14 arrivals and departures faced delays ranging from one to 15 hours. Islamabad–Abu Dhabi flight PA-230 was delayed by nine hours, while Islamabad–Dubai flight PA-210 was delayed by 15 hours.
Four flights to Peshawar, two to Skardu, three to Multan, and nine to Karachi were delayed for several hours. At Lahore Airport, 11 flights were delayed between one and six hours, while seven flights between Karachi and Lahore were delayed by one to four hours.
