Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said on Saturday that it was the government’s topmost priority to facilitate the traders and investors in the country.
Addressing an event in Islamabad, the financial czar expressed optimism about the country’s economic revival, saying, “The country’s economy is steering towards economic prosperity. The procedure of economic reforms underway.”
He added, “About 15 per cent of the people are reaping the benefits through the digital business.” The FinMin was of the view that the trend of the digital assets would be increased in the future.
Emphasising the need for taking steps to robust economy in accordance with the modern requirements, he said: “The digital investment is cheaper, swift and transparent.”
“The considerations underway to use an additional electricity for the AI data centers and crypto mining. The Pakistan Crypto Council and Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority have been established for these purposes,” the finance minister maintained.
