Jamiat-Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has rallied behind the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the election of the opposition leaders in both the National Assembly and Senate.
Sources divulged that the opposition has sped up the contacts for the appointment of the opposition leaders in both the houses. The PTI’s delegation held two meetings with Fazlur Rehman during the last week.
During the meetings with Rehman, key national, political and parliamentary matters were underlined.
Sources privy to the development said that Rehman was of the view that it is the PTI’s right to keep the posts of the opposition leaders in both the National Assembly and Senate.
He said: “There is a dire need for holding the grand dialogue.”
