Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, with the rate of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs1,500 per tola, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
The price of 24K gold per tola settled at Rs357,700, while the price of 10 grams of 24K gold rose by Rs1,286 to reach Rs306,670. Similarly, 10 grams of 22K gold stood at Rs281,124 after an increase of Rs1,179.

The rise in gold prices is attributed to movement in the international bullion market as well as fluctuations in the local currency.
International market trends
On the global front, gold gained $15 per ounce, reaching $3,350. Meanwhile, silver remained stable in the international market at $37.98 per ounce.

Silver rates in the domestic market stayed unchanged. The price of 24K silver per tola stood at Rs4,031, while 10 grams of silver was recorded at Rs3,455.
