A bird struck a private airline aircraft during taxiing at Islamabad Airport, leading to the cancellation of the flight.
According to details surfaced on Saturday, the incident involved flight PA207, which was scheduled to depart from Islamabad for Karachi. According to initial reports, the bird hit the aircraft during ground movement before take-off.
The captain immediately informed air traffic control, after which all passengers were directed back to the lounge.
The airline’s management grounded the aircraft and cancelled the flight as a precaution.
Meanwhile, a video of the incident has circulated on social media, showing passengers in distress and shouting inside the cabin.
The airline’s administration has yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter.
