The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the prices of imported Re-Gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG), with the new rates coming into effect from August 1.
The adjustment reflects a slight increase for both Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) customers.
Price increase for Sui Northern and Sui Southern
According to OGRA’s notification, RLNG prices for Sui Northern have been increased by 1.32%, taking the rate to $11.73 per MMBtu, which is 16 cents higher than last month.
For Sui Southern consumers, the price has been raised by 1.46%, with the new rate set at $10.72 per MMBtu.
Monthly adjustment reflects market trends
The RLNG price adjustment is part of OGRA’s monthly review mechanism, which considers fluctuations in global LNG prices, freight charges, and other import-related costs.
