West Indies captain Shai Hope has continued to steal the spotlight after having a terrific ODI series against Pakistan at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, Trinidad and Tobago.
According to details, Hope, who has amassed 5,879 runs in the ODI cricket, notched 18 centuries at an average of 50.24.
With his latest century against Pakistan, Hope has surpassed another West Indies batting great Desmond Haynes (17).

It is pertinent to note that West Indies batting icon Chris Gayle has placed in the number one spot in terms of most centuries for the West Indies. Gayle has compiled 25 tons in the 50-over cricket.
Former West Indies batting maestro Brian Charles Lara has racked up 19 tons in the ODIs.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Green Shirts got drubbed at the hands of the West Indies in the third ODI. The West Indies have clinched the ODI series against the visitors after 34 years.
