A cow in Brazil has broken a new world record by producing 343 litres of milk within just three days.
Typically, cows produce between 12 and 35 litres of milk daily. However, this exceptional cow yielded nearly 114 litres per day—several times more than average production.
Experts have attributed this extraordinary feat to superior breed, balanced nutrition, attentive care and the use of advanced dairy technology.
The Holstein‑Friesian breed is known globally for its high milk production, making it one of the most popular dairy breeds in the world. Also known as the Holstein, the breed is recognised for its remarkable yield, with some cows producing over 87 litres in a single day.
Among buffalo breeds, the Murrah and Nili‑Ravi are widely known in the sub-continent for their high milk output.
