China is willing to share its equipment development achievements with friendly countries, including Pakistan, according to Jiang Bin, the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of National Defense.
In response to media reports that the Pakistani military has inducted a Chinese-made Z-10ME attack helicopter to modernise its defense equipment, the spokesperson stated that the China-Pakistan defense and security cooperation is not directed at any third party and is dedicated to maintaining international and regional security and stability.
The Pakistan Army has deployed China's export-oriented Z-10ME attack helicopter. According to a Chinese expert, as quoted by APP, this will be the Z-10's first export deal, and the helicopter's strong firepower and survivability could boost Pakistan's defense capabilities, particularly in anti-terrorism.
Zhang Xuefeng, a Chinese military affairs expert, told the Global Times that the Z-10ME was upgraded with additional armour plates, warning sensors, and jamming systems, which can improve the aircraft's survivability.

Zhang described the Z-10ME as having outstanding comprehensive capabilities, making it one of the best medium-sized attack helicopters in the world.
Last week, Field Marshal Asim Munir had presided over the induction ceremony of the state-of-the-art Z-10ME attack helicopters into Pakistan Army aviation. The advanced all-weather platform, equipped with modern radar systems and electronic warfare suites, is capable of conducting precision strike operations during both day and night.
Later, the COAS also witnessed a live firepower demonstration of the newly inducted helicopters at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges. The exercise showcased the platform’s capability to engage diverse aerial and ground threats, marking what the ISPR described as a significant leap in the modernization of Army Aviation.
“The induction of this potent system reinforces the Army’s integrated battlefield response and strengthens its capacity to deliver decisive effects against potential adversaries,” the ISPR noted.
